Trivia in San Carlos is becoming the most exciting scene to hit the peninsula since we finally got an In N’ Out, and tonight’s trivia at Blue Oak Brewing, San Carlos CA perfectly captured the essence of that excitement.
Our winning team, BREWS BROTHERS, grilled the rest of the competition and served up 24 points, animal style. They got the room all smoky from their intense grilling, and had the competition suffocating on the fumes of their efficiency.
#2 was our runner up REUNITED DOUBTERS, with a smaller appetite but a big enough bite to make the podium with 23 points. This was a nice lean meal for them, and hopefully not a cheat day, if you know what I mean.
LET’S GET QUIZZY WITH IT was order #3, whose fries were about to get cold. They spent a long time in line, and somehow managed to cut in front of the rest just before closing time. A valiant effort indeed! They left the drive thru with 22 points.
The rest of the competition was left figuratively hungry, yet literally satisfied by another brilliant trivia night. Be sure to catch more excitement at Blue Oak Brewing every Wednesday at 7pm! Get there early to get a good seat — they’re usually all taken up by 6pm.
